Moon or a full moon is always something for a Chinese.

The Mid-autumn festival is almost all about the moon, especially when you are far away from your family, your best friends, the moon is the only thing shared between, looking to the moon and think about the counterparts is the only thing you know about them for sure at the very moment, vice versa.

This poem is the most famous poem on this festival.
