The poems in Lu Song are generally considered as Ya(雅) rather as Song(颂) which should be an anthem dedicated to holy dinivity rather to state lords.

As other poems in Lu Song, this poem is about their state lord: praising the officers(the horses) of Lu state, thus reflecting a powerful state and its lord. The famous sentence Thinking No Evil (思无邪) is analysed with a new interpretation. This sentence is quoted by Confucius to conclude all the poems in the Book of Songs with the words:

Chinese poem illustration: 鲁颂 駉/Lu Song – Strong Horses by Anonymous Full video also available at Bilibili: 鲁颂 駉 Till 9:59 is a short briefing on Lu Song(鲁颂), which is considered asRead More…

[4691,705,558,973
1021,4387,1518,4388,4390,1012,4377,1020,4385,4384,2331,4386,1279,4392,4391,4389
post-8001","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-book-of-songs","category-705","category-history-2","category-973","tag-book-of-songs","tag-confucian","tag-confucius","tag-4388","tag-4390","tag-1012","tag-4377","tag-fanmandarin","tag-jiong","tag-lu-song","tag-shijing","tag-thinking-no-evil","tag-1279","tag-4392","tag-4391","tag-4389
["GET
