It sounds like a poem of mid-to-late West Zhou period when the states were troubled with nature disasters and wars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arguments on \u6c94\u6c34 and \u9d25 are raised against traditional explanations by Han scholars(\u6c49\u5112). This poem also revealed some details of hunting with eagles(\u98de\u96bc, falcon) in Zhou dynasty.
