This metaphor was further developed by Zhuangzi(\u5e84\u5b50) as the ultimate destiny of a hermit: self-sufficient on a touring boat with loose anchor neither a destination(\u9971\u98df\u800c\u9068\u6e38, \u6cdb\u82e5\u4e0d\u7cfb\u4e4b\u821f, \u865a\u800c\u9068\u6e38\u8005\u4e5f). This poem started the metaphor of a wandering boat in Chinese poetry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This poem depicted the common feeling of worriness belonged to a lord in a unrest with impressive and elegant. The empathy created in turn makes this poem unique and popular. An argument on the title is raised: The Boat of Cypress Wood implies this poem is about the Bei State and its lord.
