It was believed  to be created in the \u6c49\u6b66\u5e1d(AD157-AD87) period, when Han dynasty in its utmost glory. This folk poem definitely is one of the most popular folk songs on this topic, and was collected by the official Musical Department (\u4e50\u5e9c), and music was written per this folk poem Thus we can have this poem till today. The musical part was lost due to the changes of dynasty,  just like the Music for the Book of Songs was lost before Han dynasty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This  masterpiece looks straightforward and extremely simple at first glance,  the words almost has no difficulty to  today&#8217;s Chinese.
