Yangzhou city could be the most prosperous port city of the time , a Shanghai in Tang dynasty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This poem could be interpreted in many ways, yet the deep sorrow for the dissolute past years is obvious. By digging to Du Mu &#8216;s family and his life, this poem reflects a lot more things beyond deep sorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reading in dialect of Shaanxi (\u79e6\u8154) is at the last part of this video.
