诗经之刺和左传之刺

魏风葛屦“維是褊心、是以為刺”,大雅瞻卬“天何以刺、何神不富”乃诗书易三经中仅有的两个刺字,其用与今日完全不同。刺乃谋伐朿之象,朿之象乃木之中一横两端有集束也,棺束之象,与束字当为异体,其双关暗喻君子国人及亡君之誓也,盟誓即对众人之约束也。同样,诗经中屡屡出现的棘字大多也是信守盟誓之意,双朿为信也。葛屦此字句言典册(褊)众志(心)乃盟誓之所以,瞻卬言以何(物,事,人)来盟誓于天,哪个神灵不去祭享?盟誓于天乃宗教之常事,犹太教的约柜就是存放以色列人与上帝之约的柜子,其宗教用意与本句相类。 春秋经僖公二十八年”公子買戍衛,不卒戍,刺之,楚人救衛“,其对应左传”公子買戍衛,楚人救衛,不克,公懼於晉,殺子叢以說焉,謂楚人曰,不卒戍也“,杀子叢以兑现(说)其誓言,所告楚人之语乃所违之盟誓:国子戍边,出则道祖于太庙国君,受命言誓,其誓不成,杀之言兑也,不成功,便成仁是也,春秋经成公十六年”九月,晉人執季孫行父,舍之于苕丘,冬,十月,乙亥,叔孫僑如出奔齊。十有二月,乙丑,季孫行父及晉郤犨盟于扈。公至自會。乙酉,刺公子偃“,此言晋鲁乃平而盟誓,杀公子偃以成誓。公子偃乃郑人,此年“公會尹子,晉侯,齊國佐,邾人,伐鄭”即晋国集团与郑卫仇敌,鲁虽从晋伐郑,寡头季孙家却窝藏着郑人七穆之族,有二心也。季孙杀公子偃以示与郑国绝交,以令晋国相信鲁国之诚心也。 刺之谋伐盟誓,既指结盟,也指兑言,有意思的是春秋经两处言刺,皆言兑誓而杀,而左传两处言刺,则取今日之意,以尖锐直击也,如襄公二十八年”子尾抽桷擊扉三,盧蒲癸自後刺子之,王何以戈擊之,解其左肩“,可见经传所成之间隔有时,其语有变。
